Visual Arts, Music, Theater & Dance - Main Office Assistant

Department: Visual Arts, Music, Theater & Dance

Location: Visual Arts Bldg

Supervisor: Victoria Rotondi

Work available: Daytime, Monday-Friday

Pay rate: $9.70/hr

Positions available: 2

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • General office work including: scanning, copying and shredding

  • Answer multi-line telephone, take messages and transfer appropriately

  • Assist professors and Arts Department Coordinator as need

  • Hang poster across campus

  • Collect packages from mailroom and other campus errands

  • Assist with other office work as needed

Qualification for the Position:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Knowledge of Canva and graphic design a plus

  • Excellent communication skills and proper phone etiquette needed, should be comfortable answering phones, transferring calls and taking accurate messages

  • Confidentiality is very important

  • Good work ethic and professional attitude

  • Dependability
