Summary
Federal Work Study Program students will generally perform jobs on the campuses of Johnston Community College. Work Study students will always work under the direction of a supervisor.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education Minimum: Currently enrolled or will be enrolled for the upcoming semester as a JCC student. To be accepted in the Federal Work Study Program, a JCC student must be enrolled for at least 6 credit hours, in good academic standing (See Satisfactory Academic Policy on JCC website), and demonstrate financial need based on the FAFSA information.
Experience Minimum: No experience required.
Additional Information
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend English. Bi-lingual is a plus.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Computer Skills: Some positions may require an individual to be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Blackboard.
