AMT's Audio team provides the audio foundation for various high profile features like Game Audio, Siri, FaceTime, media capture, playback and API's for third party developers to enrich our platforms. The team is looking for talented engineers who are passionate about building audio features and products for millions of customers and care about overall user experience. You will revolutionize the audio experience for game and future audio technologies.
Description
We are looking for an audio enthusiast engineer with strong programming skills to work on upcoming Apple products. In this role, you will be responsible for design and development of audio drivers for new Apple products and maintaining existing drivers. If you are curious for new Apple products and dedicated for quality and timely delivery, this is a place for you. You will enjoy team collaboration and be able to push yourself to solve challenging problems. This role provides a perfect and balanced opportunity if you are interested in working close to hardware and love to write software.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in software development, device bringup, debugging and testing
Experience with kernel level programming, device drivers and/or firmware development
Experience with bug triaging, regression testing and commercialization support
Excellent programming skills with knowledge of C++, C or Objective-C
Good understanding of computer architecture
BS in computer science or engineering (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
Cooperation in defining and updating team testing, processes, procedures
Understanding of multi-core embedded HW System and RTOS
Audio domain knowledge of ADC/DAC, amplifiers and I2S/TDM/SPI/SoundWire interfaces is a plus
