Job description

OPEN POSITION:

Position: Biomedical Tech
Department: IT
Location: Marlette, MI
Hours: Full Time. Days. Full Benefits.
Aspire Rural Health System is seeking a full-time Bio Med Tech in our IT Department. We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide our patients with the highest quality of services.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate degree from an approved school in the area of electronics or biomedical engineering technology or an equivalent in work experience.
  • Two years of related experience in a healthcare institution required and a biomedical certification preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The BMET will follow Aspire Rural Health System policies, professional standards. With these guidelines the BMET will have responsibility for making independent decisions on the equipment within the Equipment Management System. The BMET will handle installing, testing, calibrating, training, and maintaining all medical devices.
