In this full-time, onsite role, you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive therapy solutions tailored to our patients' unique needs. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to positively impact patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, enhancing their mobility and overall quality of life.

About the Organization

Leg Work Rehab Group is a leading provider of rehabilitation services in the Ozark area, committed to delivering personalized care to individuals facing physical challenges. Our organization emphasizes a patient-centric approach, integrating the expertise of various healthcare professionals to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. In a supportive and collaborative environment, our team focuses on evidence-based practices that align with the latest advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work in the patient’s home as part of our home care facility, promoting a comfortable and familiar environment for those healing from injuries or surgeries. You will typically work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing essential services to those in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations, assessing patients' physical abilities, range of motion, and functional limitations by employing various assessment tools.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on improving mobility, strength, and pain management techniques specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education tailored to individual patient conditions.
  • Utilize advanced modalities including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy where appropriate to complement treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals such as physicians, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers to ensure a comprehensive treatment strategy and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, customized home exercise programs, and lifestyle adjustments to promote ongoing health and fitness.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions that impair their movement. Patients may include post-operative individuals, athletes rehabilitating from injuries, or adults dealing with age-related mobility issues. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping these clients regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates with advanced degrees (DPT or Master's) will be preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Missouri is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings is required, although new graduates with relevant clinical rotations in orthopedics are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and functional movement assessments, is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in patient education and team collaboration, are key attributes for success in this role.
Preferred Experience

While we require at least two years of relevant experience, preference will be given to candidates who have had extensive practice in outpatient orthopedic settings, showcasing their ability to deliver effective care in a home setting. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and experience with patient engagement tools can enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

Your dedication and expertise will be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year based on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off (PTO), and multiple paid holidays. Additionally, you will have access to a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching opportunities, alongside professional development and continuing education reimbursement programs.

As you gain experience and expertise, you will be encouraged to engage in continuous learning opportunities, pursue certifications, and take on leadership roles within your discipline. Opportunities for advancement and specialization exist within our organization, positioning you for a rewarding career trajectory in the field of physical therapy.
