Job Description: GENERAL SUMMARYThe F&B Counter Clerk/Cashier s responsible for opening, closing and operational duties associated with the counter/cashier service in the foodservice outlets. This position entails a variety of tasks that require some light physical, interpersonal and customer service skills necessary for working with guests, managers and co-workers on the property. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Duties include, but are not limited to: Opens and closes the assigned station/outlet.Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining sanitation in the designated areas, following Food Safety and Sanitation standards. Takes orders, payment and/or delivers orders to customers with accuracy and efficiency. Follows policies, procedures, regulations, safety and/or health standards. Properly uses, maintains, cleans and stores tools and equipment before, during and at the end of each shift.Maintains all work areas in a neat and orderly manner. Coordinates with the supervisor/manager to promote planned specials and new items.Completes end-of-shift reports and deposits with supervisor/manager. JOB REQUIREMENTS Requirements and Related Skills: Ability to read and speak English. Second language is a plus!Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.Multitask effectively and efficiently.Possess knowledge of menu items and prices. Must be able to work flexible shifts of mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. High energy level and stamina along with the ability to exhibit attention to details.Demonstrate good personal control and judgment under normal and stressful conditions. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs using proper lifting and bending techniques.Must possess excellent math skills.Cash handling experience.Excellent customer service skills.
