As an LCSW at Health Scope Behavioral Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' presenting concerns, histories, and treatment goals through telehealth platforms.
• Providing high-quality individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness strategies, and narrative therapy.
• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans that cater specifically to each client's needs, monitoring their progress throughout the treatment process.
• Actively engaging in ongoing collaboration with clients to ensure their treatment remains relevant and demands are addressed timely.
• Upholding strict confidentiality standards and adhering to ethical practices and legal requirements within the therapeutic setting.
• Participating in continuous professional development by remaining current on best practices and methodologies within the mental health field.
• Establishing and nurturing the therapeutic relationship, fostering an atmosphere of trust and support while empowering clients to navigate life challenges.

You will be working primarily with individuals coping with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and grief, often in the context of hospice care. Your role as an LCSW will be critical in helping these clients find closure, manage their emotional responses, and foster positivity amidst challenging circumstances.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
• A strong foundation in clinical skills including assessment, treatment planning, evidence-based intervention techniques, and progress monitoring.
• Exceptional communication, empathy, and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with clients virtually.

While not mandatory, candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally within private practice, will find this role particularly conducive to their skill set. Experience working with diverse populations and utilizing teletherapy platforms will be strongly valued.
