Communication with writing teams and other stakeholders is often managed through email, chat, or video calls. Staying organized and meeting deadlines is key, as multiple projects may be handled simultaneously. The remote nature of the position allows for some schedule flexibility but requires strong self-discipline and initiative.
A Work From Home Script Editor reviews, revises, and refines scripts for films, TV shows, advertisements, or other media while working remotely. They ensure that scripts are engaging, properly formatted, and free of errors, often collaborating with writers, directors, and producers. This role requires strong editing skills, creativity, and attention to detail. Effective communication is essential, as feedback is usually provided through virtual meetings or written notes.
A Work From Home Script Editor needs strong editing, writing, and storytelling skills, usually backed by experience in scriptwriting or a related field. Familiarity with industry-standard scriptwriting software like Final Draft or Celtx and a solid understanding of formatting guidelines are highly beneficial. Excellent communication, time management, and the ability to collaborate remotely set outstanding candidates apart. These skills ensure the delivery of clear, engaging scripts that meet project requirements and deadlines in a remote setting.

Kinzer Projects is seeking several SEO content editors to craft marketing materials for several clients. Our current project is initially 150 words of original content. Additionally, there is “spun” content, where the writer will take the original content and run it through software to make a second unique piece. This project pays at a rate of $2 per item edited and accepted by the client. There is room for bonuses, as we progress within this project.
This project is dynamic, meaning that it changes frequently. Today we’re working on these guidelines but they may change. The pay rate may also change according to project needs.
This project is not ideal for experienced SEO content editors. The pay isn’t great and there will be a lot of trial and error initially as you get to know the project. It’s simple but there is a learning curve. Editors will be expected to write one or two paid items to get to know the requirements of the project.
Editors will edit for spelling and grammar, and also for guideline adherence. Editors will also send feedback to writers on any major corrections.
