Job Summary:
OVA.Work is a company seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of their software products. The QA Analyst will design and execute test plans, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues before release.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze business requirements and technical specifications
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform manual and/or automated testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Validate fixes and perform re-testing
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Proven experience in software testing or QA role
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred:
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
