• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique goals and preferences, taking into account their individual circumstances and backgrounds.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address and treat mood disorders.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, fostering empowerment and providing valuable resources for recovery.
• Monitor and track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and responsiveness to changing needs.
• Engage in integrated care by collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic support to clients.
• Stay abreast of current research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to refine treatment strategies and enhance clinical efficacy.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families facing challenges related to mood disorders, relationship issues, and life transitions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their mental health journeys, promoting healing and resilience as they navigate complex emotional landscapes.

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential.

• Annual salary between $70,000 and $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
