Job Description:
Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating and managing daily operations of the residency program. Collaborates with the program director and GME office to ensure compliance with accreditation guidelines. Applies comprehensive understanding of national accreditation policies. Exercises initiative and independent judgment in program administration. Supports effective communication and organization within the program.
Essential Functions
• Develops and directs program planning, project management, and related activities.
• Manages recruitment processes for residents, fellows, and faculty.
• Updates and maintains program policies and procedures.
• Utilizes databases and residency management software to support program operations.
• Serves as primary resource for learners, faculty, and administrative staff.
• Acts as liaison between Residency Program Director, chief residents, program faculty, GME Office, and affiliated teaching sites.
• Coordinates internal and external program communications and relations.
• Ensures compliance with accrediting agency requirements and standards.
• Supports training program operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Experience Requirement
2-3 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
