A Work From Home Electrical Control Panel Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and reviewing electrical control panels used in industrial and automation systems—all while working remotely. They create wiring diagrams, select components, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role requires proficiency in CAD software, electrical schematics, and knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and control systems. Engineers collaborate with clients, project teams, and manufacturers to ensure efficient and reliable panel designs. As a Work From Home Electrical Control Panel Design Engineer, your daily tasks often include designing and drafting electrical schematics, selecting components, preparing bills of materials, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. You'll frequently collaborate with project managers, clients, and other engineers via online meetings and cloud-based project management tools.
