This role requires self-motivation, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases independently in a remote setting.
A Work From Home Chargeback Analyst is responsible for investigating and resolving disputed transactions between customers and businesses, typically related to credit card or payment processing issues. They analyze chargeback claims, review transaction data, and gather supporting documentation to determine the validity of disputes. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of financial and payment processing systems. Working remotely, these analysts communicate with banks, merchants, and customers to ensure timely resolution of chargebacks while minimizing financial losses.
To thrive as a Work From Home Chargeback Analyst, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a background in finance, accounting, or a related field. Familiarity with dispute management platforms, such as Ethoca and Verifi, as well as proficiency in Excel and CRM systems, is often required. Excellent written communication, problem-solving abilities, and time management are crucial soft skills for success in this remote position.
