• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their specific requirements, goals, and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address client concerns.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques to enhance overall well-being.
• Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative care efforts, working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously improve therapeutic practices.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• A valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach towards clients' experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage a caseload and complete administrative tasks.

• Experience in providing crisis intervention and support to clients in distress.
