Job description

Schutz Container System is a Global Packaging Container Company is looking for a Inventory Control  /Production Planner for our plant located at Winder, GA

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for maintaining all Hydra software users (training will be provide it)
  • Conduct quarterly and yearly inventory of finished goods and materials to ensure 100% accuracy
  • Proactively prepare for future or unexpected customer order needs based on sales forecasts and past order history and instructing Production Planners on preparing production schedules accordingly
  • Prepare production reports through Hydra
  • Actively communicate with internal departments in the company to make sure the plant meets shipping deadlines
  • Communicate the status of production to all applicable departments including, but not limited to Management, Sales, Customer Service and Shipping
  • Work extensively with the SAP system to constantly account for inventory and constantly update production capacity

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient in SAP Required
  • Hydra Software preferred but will train
  • MS Office expertise, specifically Excel & Word – PowerPoint a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience at fast-paced high-volume manufacturing facility
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Manufacturing Industry Required
  • Efficient, organized and strong follow-up
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and be flexible
