AWS Cloud Engineer
Location: Miami, FL (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to join a newly forming team. This role involves day-to-day administration of cloud services, focusing on EC2 and Terraform. The ideal candidate will be a willing learner, ready to contribute to the team's rapid development as they transition from a managed service provider to an in-house model.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day administration of AWS services.
  • Manage EC2 instances and infrastructure.
  • Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and pipeline management.
  • Contribute to a team environment focused on learning and growth.
  • Assist in the transition of AWS services from a managed service provider.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 0-5 years of relevant experience in a cloud engineering capacity.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with AWS services.
  • Experience with networking and security, including transit gateway management.
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Hands-on experience with EC2 management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipeline management.
