Job description

We are seeking Professional Learning Facilitators (PLFs) to join our growing team at Transfr! The ideal candidate is an experienced facilitator, who is passionate about professional learning, instructional innovation, and educator success. They thrive in fast-paced environments, communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, and are energized by helping educators and organizations effectively adopt technology and drive meaningful outcomes.
As a Professional Learning Facilitator, you will deliver high-impact, in-person professional learning experiences that build educator capacity and help customers maximize the value of Transfr's solutions. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to tailor training to specific needs, particularly within Career & Technical Education (CTE) and workforce development.
This role is pivotal in driving customer adoption, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality professional learning experience across customer engagements.
Important Note: This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity. Earnings vary based on individual effort, experience, availability, and engagement.
Must be available to train 2-3 days a month, mainly Monday - Friday during business hours to complete onboarding and facilitate sessions.
Location: This is a field-based contract position. Must be based in Georgia to effectively support regional travel and customer engagement needs. The role requires extensive travel, with professional learning sessions delivered onsite at customer locations across the U.S.
Contract Rate: Starts at $800 a day. Training rate is $400 a day. Hours vary depending on customer needs and seasonality.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Deliver in-person professional learning sessions to customers as designed by the Programs Team.
  • Tailor (where applicable) and adapt training content to address specific customer contexts, particularly within Career & Technical Education (CTE) and workforce development.
  • Guide educators and administrators to fully understand the scope and functionality of Transfr's solutions.
  • Collect and analyze participant feedback, surveys, and performance metrics to evaluate and improve training effectiveness.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between customer needs and the Programs Team and Professional Services team, contributing to future resource and curriculum development.
  • Collaborate with Implementation Specialists and Customer Success Managers to ensure smooth transitions and continuity throughout the customer journey.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years of experience delivering professional learning or training for educators, preferably in K-12, higher education, workforce development, or CTE contexts.
  • 2+ years of experience with instructional technology, edtech tools, or digital learning platforms.
  • Demonstrated success facilitating in-person professional learning workshops, coaching, or training sessions.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and best practices in professional development.
  • Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with proven success delivering customer-facing presentations and training sessions.
  • Comfort with technology and ability to quickly learn new platforms and tools.
  • Ability to adapt facilitation style to diverse audiences and contexts.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (all work will be in the field), with sessions delivered primarily onsite at customer locations in your assigned region.
  • Flexibility to accommodate training schedules as needed and aligned with customer needs.

Nice to Have:
  • Master's in Education, Instructional Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience contributing to professional learning content development or curriculum design.
  • Familiarity with Career & Technical Education (CTE), workforce development, or immersive learning technologies.
