**Job Summary**

A local company is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Truck Washer/Detailer to join our team. This position will be responsible for washing, cleaning, detailing, preparing, and maintaining tractor-trailers, containers, equipment, and other company assets. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, handling equipment, learning new skills, and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

* Wash and clean tractor-trailers, trailers, containers, trucks, and other equipment.
* Perform interior and exterior detailing of vehicles and equipment.
* Pressure wash and remove dirt, grease, oil, road grime, and other buildup.
* Prepare metal surfaces for painting and coating.
* Perform sanding, grinding, scraping, and surface preparation.
* Assist with sandblasting/abrasive blasting of trailers, containers, and equipment.
* Mask and prepare surfaces prior to painting.
* Assist with painting and coating projects as needed.
* Inspect equipment for damage, rust, peeling paint, or other issues and report findings.
* Take before-and-after pictures of equipment and completed work.
* Assist with loading, unloading, and moving equipment and materials.
* Maintain and clean work areas, tools, and equipment.
* Properly use pressure washers, air compressors, sanders, grinders, blasting equipment, and other tools.
* Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
* Handle cleaning chemicals and industrial materials safely.
* Maintain accurate documentation of completed washouts, detailing, and equipment work.
* Assist other departments and team members as needed.
* Perform other duties related to truck, trailer, and equipment maintenance.

 Qualifications

* Previous truck washing, detailing, industrial cleaning, painting, or equipment maintenance experience is a plus.
* Experience with sandblasting, sanding, grinding, or painting preferred.
* Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
* Ability to lift, carry, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Dependable and punctual.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when needed.
* Ability to multitask and work independently as well as with a team.
* Willingness to learn new skills.
* Valid driver's license preferred.
