Job Summary

The Student Worker at the front desk will be responsible for providing administrative support, greeting visitors, and assisting with various office tasks. This role involves managing phone calls, handling inquiries, and ensuring the front desk operates smoothly.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities)

  • Greets and assists visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answers and directs inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
  • Create flyers, presentation slides, and other needed graphics.
  • Occasional peer advising for study abroad.
  • Performs general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Set up and break down of a variety of events in office and around campus.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.

Required Qualifications

Equivalent Education and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled as a student.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Excel and Canva

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with Teams
