Job description

HOTEL NAME is currently seeking a Room Attendant to join our growing team!

As our Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and supplying all assigned guest rooms/suites according to the standards established by the hotel.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning assigned rooms/suites daily
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting, brushing and polishing floors and furniture in the rooms
  • Cleaning showers, tubs, sinks and bathroom items
  • Making beds
  • Removing used and replacing guest room amenities as necessary 
  • Providing information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other available amenities
  • Reporting all room maintenance items to supervisor

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; OR 6 months - 1 year related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read a limited number of 2 and 3 syllable words 
  • Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
  • Ability to print and speak simple sentences
  • Basic math skills
