Job description

The Compliance Litigation Coordinator supports DaBella's Legal and Compliance team in coordinating, tracking, and administering litigation matters and compliance-related activities. This role assists with case tracking, document collection, reporting, and communication with internal teams and outside counsel to help ensure matters are handled accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:Litigation Support
  • Assist with the coordination and tracking of active litigation matters, deadlines, case updates, and required documentation.
  • Maintain organized and accurate litigation files, case records, trackers, and legal databases.
  • Support document collection and production requests by coordinating with internal departments and outside counsel.
  • Assist with legal holds, document preservation, and collection of records related to litigation matters.
  • Communicate with outside counsel regarding case updates, document requests, deadlines, and other routine litigation needs.
  • Coordinate with departments including HR, Accounting, IT, and Operations to gather information and documentation for legal matters.
  • Assist with preparing documents, timelines, reports, and other materials related to pending litigation.
  • Track outside counsel invoices and other litigation-related expenses as needed.
Compliance & Legal Coordination
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for ongoing compliance and legal initiatives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for routine requests from internal teams related to assigned legal or compliance matters.
  • Maintain confidential legal documentation and ensure records are properly organized and retained.
  • Assist with tracking deadlines, action items, and follow-up needed across Legal and Compliance.
  • Support additional Legal and Compliance projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Some college education in Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field or a Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting or working with litigation matters required; law firm, corporate legal department, or similar experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with legal documents, litigation processes, case management, or document collection.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
  • Comfortable working with multiple departments and communicating with attorneys and outside counsel.
