MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Must pass various pre-placement background screenings
Ability to perform detail work and keep accurate records
First aid certificate/CPR or willingness to obtain one
Good telephone etiquette
Computer, word processing, and keyboarding skills (30-40 words per minute)
Knowledge in use of various office machines
Familiar with Print Shop and Newsletters desired
2 years experience with Infinite Campus desired
Bilingual Spanish desired
Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
Experience and/or skills working with culturally diverse populations desired
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This position works with Infinite Campus and attendance.
Responsible for assisting students, staff, patrons, and administrator as needed to ensure a safe and orderly environment
Supervises the playground/lunchroom on a daily basis
Communicates with parents regarding student absences
Disperses medication to students per District procedures
Uses technology to record attendance and prepare notices as needed
Ensures all correspondence is word processed with accuracy in spelling and grammar
Ensures office operates in an effective and efficient manner
Ensures that all publics are treated with dignity and respect
Responsible for completing required paperwork
Participates in opportunities to develop knowledge and skills, which support assignment
Performs all other duties as assigned by the building administrator
