Responsibilities

Assists with day to day management, implementation and communication of Northside Hospital benefit plans. Additionally, the role will manage, monitor, audit and analyze benefits data, trends, new plan implementations. The role will also be responsible for day to day benefits administration, customer service escalations, and provides guidance to less experienced staff members Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications including expert status in Excel.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in a related field and five (5) years' experience in benefits administration.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employee benefit programs and related regulations and administrative procedure.
  • Prior work experience in healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated skills in the operation of personal computers and the use of database and word-processing programs.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to lead projects across functions
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications including expert status in Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. Ability to effectively interact with third party service
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, verbal, written and presentation skills
