Job Overview
The Merchandise Processor- Equipment Operator locates, pulls, and stages customer service materials/products for shipping and/or receiving based on daily pick tickets, while maintaining accurate accounting of internal transactions, placements, and movement of materials. Safely operates PIT, forklifts and Reach equipment is required.

Essential Functions

  • Safely operate Power Industrial Trucks be securing material prior to handling or storing and by operating at reasonable speeds and control. Levels- Fork lift, Reach lift.
  • Safely pull, process and perform inspections of materials, supplies, tools, fixtures and parts.
  • Responsible for shipping, pulling orders and completing required customer orders and paperwork.
  • Move materials within the warehouse and assist in other warehouse activities as directed Supervisor or Manager.
  • Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas.
  • Monitor Machinery and equipment operation to ensure all products meet performance specifications and requirements. Promptly notify supervisor of any quality or production issue.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

MARGINAL FUNCTIONSThe individual may be asked to perform other duties as requested.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

An individual qualified for this job must be able to:

  • Operate a computer - basic PC proficiency; (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and reporting)
  • Accurately multiply, divide, add, and subtract whole numbers to resolve practical problems.
