Job description

Salary: $23+

CWWC is seeking a skilled Custom Cabinet Maker with a strong background in carpentry and woodworking to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, pays close attention to detail, and has experience building high-quality, custom cabinetry and wood products from start to finish.


This role involves interpreting designs, selecting materials, fabricating components, and assembling custom cabinets and related woodwork to exact specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and adhere to all safety guidelines, policies, and practices. Immediately report all incidents, injuries or near misses to a Foreperson.
  • Build custom cabinets, furniture, and millwork from drawings, plans, or verbal specifications
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and wood-related materials
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and accurately
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and cut lists
  • Install hardware such as hinges, drawer slides, and specialty fittings
  • Sand, prep, and assist with finishing as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other craftsmen
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and project deadlines


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in cabinetry making, woodworking, or other millwork
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings
  • Proficiency with table saws, jointers, planers, routers, and other shop equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional


Working Conditions/Schedule:

Monday Thursday 6-4:30, overtime as required
