Woodlands Primary Healthcare is a growing primary care practice seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our clinical team at our The Woodlands location. This is a great opportunity for a recent MA program graduate looking to start their career in a supportive, patient-centered environment. New grads are encouraged to apply — we'll help you build your clinical confidence on the job.
About the Role

You'll work directly alongside our providers and clinical staff, supporting daily patient visits, rooming, vitals, and clinical documentation. This is an in-office, hands-on role — ideal for someone eager to learn and grow within a family medicine practice.
Key Responsibilities

  • Room patients, take vitals, and document chief complaints
  • Assist providers during exams and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
  • Administer injections and perform basic clinical tasks under provider supervision
  • Accurately document patient encounters in eClinicalWorks (ECW)
  • Collect and process lab specimens per office protocol
  • Support patient flow, scheduling coordination, and front-to-back communication
  • Maintain compliance with clinical, safety, and HIPAA standards
Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (recent graduates welcome — no prior experience required)
  • MA certification (CMA, RMA) preferred but not required for new grads
  • Familiarity with EHR systems a plus; eClinicalWorks (ECW) experience preferred
  • Bilingual — English/Spanish preferred
  • Must be able to work on-site at our The Woodlands, TX location
