Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and organized Construction Superintendent/Wood Construction

Duties

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring smooth daily operations, effective site coordination, and subcontractor management.

  • Ensuring top-tier craftsmanship, code compliance, and site safety.

  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring deadlines and financial targets are met.

  • Inspect and oversee work performed by subcontractors and vendors to uphold high-quality standards.

  • Act as the primary liaison between project management, clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and smooth project execution.

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily activity logs, progress reports, safety records and project status updates.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.

  • Proven experience with Ground up construction for Multifamily projects in Wood Construction.

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and resolve conflicts efficiently.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in ProCore and MS Projects preferred.

  • OSHA and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.
