Job description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable wood worker to perform various tasks involving the cutting, shaping, and other work necessary to prepare wood products for final use. The ideal candidate will have some experience with woodworking and be able to follow instructions in order to complete tasks safely and quickly. You should be able to work with little supervision and stay calm in a busy workshop

Responsibilities

Work with saws, drills, grinders, sanders, and other equipment

Cut, shape, and shape wood products according to instructions

Adjust machines and machines tools to ensure proper operation of machines and tools

Clean work areas and tools after each job

Inspect machines and tools for defects or scratches

Maintain a clean working environment

Keep work area organized and clean

Report any issues or concerns to supervisors or managers

Qualifications

Experience with woodworking is preferred but not required. We will train the right person if you have experience but we will not pay for training.

Knowledge of basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Basic computer skills including the ability to navigate websites for information. We will train you on how to use our software for printing jobs.
