Position: Wood Assembler / Carpenter Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY
The PSI Group in Williamsport MD, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes and custom wood packaging, is seeking Assemblers to join our Wood Assembly Department. Wood Assemblers are responsible for the safe operation of the equipment and machinery utilized in our assembly department to build specialized packaging to meet customer specifications and expectations. These vacancies are full time, 1st shift vacancies and do not require any shift rotation. The core schedule for the positions are Monday-Thursday 6 am-3:30 pm and Fridays 6 am-10 am and overtime as needed. Good attendance is a must!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Safety First Mentality.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Previous experience in finished carpentry, such as cabinet or furniture making.
  • Knowledge and experience with the safe operation of power saws and air tools.
  • General knowledge of computers.
