Commercial Truck Driver (Class B CDL)

Reports To: Transportation/Operations Leadership (as designated by client)

Travel: Local/regional routes as assigned

Compensation: $23-$25/hour

Job Summary

The Commercial Truck Driver (Class B CDL) ensures safe and consistent transportation to meet customer commitments and maintain operational throughput. This role requires prior roll-off experience and places a strong emphasis on safety, accurate documentation, and clear communication with dispatch.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate Class B vehicles safely; complete assigned pickups/deliveries.
  • Perform pre/post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Maintain required logs and delivery documentation.
  • Coordinate with dispatch to manage route changes and customer requirements.
  • Adhere to all safety and compliance policies.
Required Qualifications
  • Class B Commercial Driver's License Required.
  • Safe driving track record and ability to follow procedures.
  • Strong reliability and communication.
  • Candidates must possess prior experience driving and operating roll-off trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Materials/recycling route experience.
  • Familiarity with Central Texas and surrounding routes is a plus.
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • This schedule is subject to change depending on the fluctuation of production demands.
