Job description

Description of the role:

The Certified Medication Technician at Santa Maria Hostel will assist in administering medication to residents under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare provider
  • Maintain accurate records of medication dosages and times
  • Monitor residents for any adverse reactions to medications
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team regarding residents' medication needs

Requirements:

  • Certified Medication Technician license or Certified Pharmacy Technician
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
