Job description

Interested in joining an amazing OB/GYN practice in Cadillac, Michigan?  We are seeking a dynamic and passionate physician to join our practice and enhance health care for women in our community. Join our team of physicians, CNMs, and an outstanding support team.   

Our OB/GYN practice offers evidence-based and age-appropriate care to women at each stage of their life.  We have an active robotics program and support advanced gynecologic care to our community and beyond. 

Our practice is supported by Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians from the University of Michigan and can be consulted 24/7 or seen in our Traverse City MFM office for ongoing care needs. Call is shared among members of the practice. We have a dedicated and skilled inpatient nursing team to support women through the birth process. Opportunity to work and teach with an FMOB GME program.

  • Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital and its partners work together to provide superior quality care and promote community health. 
  • Acknowledges safety is a self-responsibility. Knows physical requirements of the job and works within those guidelines. Performs job duties safely at all times, utilizing learned body mechanics and transferring/lifting techniques.  Plans actions to promote safety. Reports any unsafe situation/equipment according to hospital procedures. 
  • Maintains visibility within the community as a health care provider. Serves as a role model to clinic staff, faculty, and the community at large. 
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Standard Qualifications

  • MD or DO 
  • Successful completion of an approved U.S. Residency training program approved by the Accrediting Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) of the American Medical Association, or the American Osteopathic Association or its equivalent.

Certification, Licensure, Registration:  

  • Board eligible/certified for OB/GYN practice in the State of Michigan 
  • NRP, BLS, EFM certified
