Job description

IU Health is seeking a patient-focused Malignant Hematologist to join our Multiple Myeloma practice in Indianapolis, IN! 

  • Full-time employment opportunity for adult, multiple myeloma patients
  • 100% clinical
  • 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient
  • Expected patient volume in clinic: 40/week
  • Expected patient volume on inpatient: 20/week
  • Monday - Friday, 12 weekends of call annually
  • Practice locations include Eskenazi Hospital, University Hospital, and IU Simon Cancer Center (all part of the IU School of Medicine's Academic Health Center)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide independent judgement in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with BE/BC in Hematology
  • Subspecialty expertise & demonstrated clinical excellence in Multiple Myeloma & plasma cell disorders
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, & collaborative skills 
  • Only open to practicing physicians at this time
