Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Emergency Medicine/Sports Medicine Physician to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in both Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to athletes and active individuals of all ages.

This role includes seeing patients at a specialized orthopedic and sports injury urgent care across multiple locations. The position offers opportunities to serve as a team physician for high school sports teams, with potential for collegiate and professional team physician roles as they arise.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care for acute and chronic sports-related injuries

  • Serve as a team physician for high school teams, with potential for future collegiate and professional team involvement

  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans

  • Perform musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures

  • Participate in community outreach and sports events to promote injury prevention and wellness

  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in sports medicine and emergency care

  • Educate patients, families, and the community on sports injury prevention and health maintenance


Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

  • Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine or Sports Medicine

  • Valid medical license to practice in the state

  • Proficiency in musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures

  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with a focus on sports injuries

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with athletes of all ages and levels, including recreational, youth, high school, collegiate, and professional sports

  • Previous involvement in sports medicine research or publications

  • Familiarity with the latest technologies and techniques in sports medicine
