SUMMARY

The Project Manager will lead cross-functional initiatives supporting the development, production, and commercialization of high-performance silicone and foam products. This role will drive projects across R&D, manufacturing, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery aligned with business objectives.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end project management for new product development, process improvements, and capital initiatives
  • Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate with R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales teams
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Drive alignment on priorities, milestones, and deliverables

Monitoring & Control

  • Track project performance using KPIs, dashboards, and status reporting
  • Identify risks and issues early and implement corrective actions
  • Manage changes to scope, cost, and schedule in accordance with governance processes

Process Improvement

  • Apply PMP methodologies and best practices to standardize project execution
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
  • Enhance project documentation, workflows, and reporting systems

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure projects adhere to ISO and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
  • Support regulatory, safety, and environmental compliance as applicable


QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in manufacturing or chemical/materials environments
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies

Preferred

  • Experience in silicone, chemical, or advanced materials manufacturing
  • Background working with product development or industrial processes
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet)
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile certification
