Position Summary

The Senior Supervisor, Systems manages the WMS application on behalf of both the warehouse and fulfillment supervisor. This role is responsible for the supervision of a team of Work Queue Monitors, WMS Specialists, Quality Control and Inventory Reconciliation Associates. The Senior Supervisor, Systems analyzes the information available through the receiving manufacturing schedules and compares them to the information available within WMS to provide manpower and space planning information to the appropriate contacts. The Senior Supervisor, Systems will analyze the daily operation of the system, correcting system setup problems as they are identified and suggesting procedural changes to the appropriate supervisor to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy of the daily operations. As new storage facilities become available, the Senior Supervisor, Systems will coordinate and set up new storage facilities. This includes mapping, labeling, storage plans and system setup. This position is based in Jacksonville, Florida.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITIES

Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Manages the system strategies and key tables
  • Responsible for constant review of the system for needed improvements and opportunities to obtain greater benefits. System project coordination, including systems upgrades.
  • Identify and balance demand for storage capacity required by using functions within the storage resources available to meet those demands.
  • Manages the interfaces so that AMAPS, PH, RMS, BCS, and WMS are kept in sync.
  • Recommend procedural changes that will prevent the recurrence of interface problems.
  • Assist in the solution of the WMS related problem.
  • Manages specific item attributes that control system logic.
  • Manages the problem resolution queue.
  • Supervision and management of ad-hoc reports and queries by the Materials Standards coordinator for the various work groups within the Product Division.
  • Supervise and manage the inventory audit preprocess and related reporting.
  • Supervise and manage the ongoing item measurement process.
  • Participation and support of continuous improvement processes.
  • Identifying and coordinating re-warehousing opportunities.
  • Keeping WMS Procedures manual current and up to date.
  • Formal training of others to assist in the performance of these duties.
  • All WMS training curriculum as well as staff training.
  • Finished gift inventory placement, storage, inventory control, data collection and cycle counting.
  • Supervision of Work Queue Monitors, WMS Specialists, Quality Control and Inventory Reconciliation Associates.
  • Promote a culture of safety, following all documentation and reporting responsibilities and actively participating in the Safety Committee.
  • Monitor and provide information to Security on issues of concern.
  • Other duties as assigned
