ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Manager for a temporary assignment to lead and optimize warehouse and logistics operations in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will have full operational responsibility for the warehouse, including team leadership, process excellence, inventory integrity, and material flow to support aggressive construction and commissioning timelines. You will drive safety, efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement while managing high-value, sensitive equipment in a fast-paced environment. This is a temporary leadership position ideal for a strong warehouse manager who can rapidly establish best-in-class operations and deliver results under tight deadlines. Contracts may include the possibility of extension based on business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the full warehouse team, including supervisors, logistics specialists, and material handlers
  • Own all warehouse operations: receiving, inspection, storage, kitting, staging, shipping, returns, and inventory management
  • Establish and maintain high inventory accuracy through robust cycle count programs, audits, and ERP/WMS system integrity
  • Develop and optimize material handling processes to ensure timely, accurate support for data center construction and operations
  • Drive safety culture, compliance, and housekeeping standards (OSHA, internal policies, and industry best practices)
  • Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) including on-time delivery, accuracy, productivity, cost, and turnaround time
  • Partner closely with procurement, project management, facilities, and data center teams to align on schedules and resolve bottlenecks
  • Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, carrier relationships, and reverse logistics for high-value equipment
  • Identify, implement, and sustain process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
  • Provide regular reporting, risk assessments, and escalation to senior leadership
  • Hands-on support during peak periods, including extended hours or weekends as required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 6+ years of progressive warehouse or logistics experience, including 3+ years in a warehouse management or senior supervisory role
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and improving warehouse operations in fast-paced environments
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP/WMS systems, inventory control, and warehouse best practices
  • Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and vendor/carrier relationships
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and perform physical tasks in a warehouse or data center environment
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work onsite in Jacksonville, FL or Conroe, TX with flexibility for extended hours
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Prior experience in data center, hyperscale, construction, or high-tech manufacturing supply chain
  • Forklift certification and deep knowledge of material handling equipment
  • Lean/Six Sigma, APICS, or other relevant certifications
  • Proven track record implementing process improvements and technology solutions
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • This is a temporary position (with potential for extension)
  • Position is subject to pre-employment drug and random drug/alcohol testing
  • Position is subject to pre-employment and annual background checks
  • Willingness to travel to other sites occasionally (as required)
  • Comfortable working in environments with noise and varying temperatures
