This position is based in Newark, California and is onsite.

Materials & Process Supervisor

Position Summary
Oversee materials and WMS processes, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with company standards. Serve as the Oracle WMS  (Warehouse Management System) subject matter expert and support VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) operations with suppliers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee materials, inventory, and WMS processes and ensure policy compliance.
  • Serve as Oracle WMS Super User and support system troubleshooting and improvements.
  • Support WMS module blueprinting and process optimization.
  • Create and maintain work instructions and SOPs; train employees on processes.
  • Supervise VMI activities with suppliers across production and stores.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, IT, and Procurement on process improvements.
  • Monitor inventory/process performance and identify corrective actions.
  • Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of experience in materials, inventory, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
  2. Experience with **Oracle WMS** or a similar WMS.
  3. Experience with VMI, supplier coordination, and process documentation.
  4. Strong process improvement, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Manufacturing/EMS experience preferred.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field preferred.
