Job description

Job Description

We're building the go-to-market team for Base44, an AI-powered software development platform recently acquired by Wix. As our first Enterprise Sales Director, you'll lead the team responsible for landing and expanding Base44's largest, most strategic accounts. You'll be a player-coach at the intersection of team leadership and complex deal execution, closely involved in deals AND shaping the playbook for how we sell to enterprise buyers as the segment scales.

This role is ideal for a sales leader who has run enterprise teams before and knows how to navigate long cycles, multiple stakeholders, and procurement complexity, while still building the foundational playbook for a fast-growing startup within Wix. You'll work closely with founders and Wix leadership to define what enterprise success looks like for Base44.

Responsibilities

  • Own the enterprise sales motion as a player-coach, staying close to the largest and most complex deals in the pipeline

  • Lead and grow a team of Enterprise Account Executives; run a coaching-first operating cadence (1:1s, deal reviews, call coaching, QBRs)

  • Coach reps on multithreading, executive engagement, and navigating multi-stakeholder buying committees (procurement, security, IT, legal).

  • Define and refine the enterprise sales process: qualification frameworks, deal stages, mutual close plans, and forecasting discipline

  • Build territory and account coverage models for enterprise accounts, including named-account strategy and expansion planning

  • Deliver accurate forecasts and maintain healthy pipeline coverage, with clear visibility into deal risk and gap-closing plans

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to support enterprise deal cycles and post-sale expansion

  • Represent the voice of enterprise customers back to product and leadership, influencing roadmap, packaging, and positioning

  • Hire and onboard enterprise AEs as the team scales

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a meaningful portion selling into enterprise accounts

  • 4+ years directly managing quota-carrying enterprise AEs, with a track record of team quota attainment

  • Demonstrated personal track record of sourcing and closing six-figure+ enterprise deals as an individual contributor

  • Experience value selling to executive buyers in complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles

  • Track record of navigating enterprise procurement, security review, and legal processes to close six-figure+ deals

  • Strong operational mastery of MEDDPICC

  • Experience with AI/ML, developer platforms, or product-led SaaS is a strong plus

  • Proven ability to build or mature an enterprise sales motion: process, forecasting rigor, and account planning

  • Strong communication and executive presence, comfortable presenting to C-level stakeholders internally and externally

  • Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity in a high-growth, startup-within-a-company environment

Additional Information

We're Base44, a newly acquired part of Wix, on a mission to change how software gets built. Our AI-powered platform allows anyone to create custom software applications using natural language, no traditional coding required. We operate like a startup within Wix: fast-moving, collaborative, and focused on solving complex problems with simple, elegant solutions.

As our Enterprise Sales Director, you'll play a key role in shaping our go-to-market approach, working closely with our founders and Wix leadership to bring this transformative technology to market.
