Inner Wisdom Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team in a full-time, remote capacity. The work environment for this position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while still maintaining a strong connection to a supportive outpatient team. You will engage with clients through virtual therapy sessions, utilizing secure and HIPAA-compliant technology to ensure confidentiality and comfort. Our outpatient office in Sacramento serves as a collaborative hub, where therapists share insights, participate in team meetings, and access resources that enhance client care.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs, using standardized tools and personal interviews to inform clinical diagnoses.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique goals and circumstances of each client, adjusting approaches based on effectiveness and feedback.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, utilizing de-escalation techniques and providing immediate support.
• Maintain precise and confidential client records, including detailed treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measures in adherence to ethical guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and nutritionists—to deliver holistic, comprehensive care.
• Educate clients and their families about various mental health issues, available treatments, and community resources, advocating for their needs with empathy and respect.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and workshops, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health.

Your work will primarily focus on diverse clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. This role requires sensitivity to the complexities of individual backgrounds and experiences, and the ability to adapt therapy styles to meet various needs within the population we serve. • Current license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) in the state of California.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a therapeutic setting.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being comfortable managing independent casework.
• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality at all times.

• Experience in conducting therapy in an outpatient setting, preferably with familiarity in both individual and group therapy modalities.
• Knowledge of the Sacramento community's mental health resources and support systems.
• Background in integrating diverse therapeutic approaches tailored to meet a variety of client needs.

The salary for the Licensed Mental Health Therapist position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
