Maybell Quantum is seeking an experienced Wiring Technician. Our ideal team member is a hands-on individual who has experience soldering and fabricating complex wiring. They are self-motivated with strong communication skills and can work well in teams and individually.
Role:
You will work closely with the Science, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to fabricate highly technical wires, cables, harnesses, and RF systems. You will be responsible for developing and performing manufacturing procedures for critical wiring components for our dilution refrigerators as well as other product lines.
  • Perform precise and delicate wire soldering
  • Test and qualify wiring harnesses
  • Install and qualify wiring on complex equipment
  • Fabricate and assemble RF wiring stacks
  • Provide input on manufacturing processes
  • Track and maintain production schedules
  • Use VNA to perform RF testing
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Strong soldering skills, particularly with delicate assemblies
  • Basic wiring/soldering troubleshooting skills
  • Strong micro-mechanical skills
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, BOMs and other engineering documentation
  • Strong safety-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work OT as needed

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Associate degree in electrical technology or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience fabricating or working on RF systems
  • Experience working on machinery or industrial equipment
  • Experience working with a reflow oven
  • Experience operating a VNA
  • Experience working with cryogenic systems
