About the Role:

The 3+ Year Experience Apprentice at Left Coast Electric Inc. plays a critical role in supporting the electrical team by applying foundational knowledge and hands-on skills to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This position is designed to further develop the apprentice's technical expertise through practical experience under the guidance of seasoned electricians. The apprentice will contribute to ensuring that all electrical work complies with safety standards and local codes, thereby maintaining the integrity and safety of projects. Through active participation in diverse electrical tasks, the apprentice will gain proficiency in troubleshooting, wiring, and system testing, preparing them for advanced responsibilities. Ultimately, this role aims to cultivate a highly skilled electrician capable of independently managing complex electrical projects in the future.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience as an electrical apprentice or in a related electrical role.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Willingness to work in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training.
  • Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical regulations.
  • Experience using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and circuit testers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when required.
  • Certification in OSHA safety standards or equivalent safety training.
