CURRENT OPPORTUNITY:           ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE / COMMERCIAL OVERHEAD DOOR
TECHNICIAN
This position combines electrical apprenticeship training with hands-on commercial overhead door installation, service, troubleshooting, and repair work. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, willing to learn, dependable, and comfortable working in different locations and job-site environments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with electrical installations, wiring, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Learn to install, service, maintain, and repair commercial overhead doors
  • Work with door operators, motors, controls, sensors, and related electrical components
  • Respond to commercial service calls and emergency repairs
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems
  • Assist with installation and project work on commercial job sites
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
  • Work safely from ladders and lifts and in various job-site conditions
  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers
  • Follow company safety procedures and applicable electrical requirements
Must be available and willing to travel for project work, including out-of-state jobs, for approximately one week at a time as needed.
This position requires participation in a 24/7 emergency on-call rotation every other week.
During your assigned on-call week, you must be available to respond to emergency commercial service calls, including nights, weekends, and holidays, when required.
