Job description

Join the Team That's Redefining Wireless Technology
At Tarana, we're more than just a fast-growing tech company-we're a team of bold innovators on a mission to revolutionize broadband. Our groundbreaking Fixed Wireless Access technology is delivering fiber-class internet speeds worldwide, bridging the digital divide in ways previously thought impossible.
Tarana is seeking a skilled and motivated Integration Test Engineer to join our team to support and enhance our new product testing capabilities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in testing new hardware, managing regressions, executing comprehensive test plans, and analyzing test results. This position requires a self-starter who can build, maintain, and optimize test stations, ensuring proper configuration for accurate deployment.
What you'll be doing:
  • Implement and execute test plans based on design documentation to validate new hardware and FPGA functionality.
  • Work extensively in a hardware lab environment, including setting up and monitoring tests within thermal chambers (ovens/coolers) to validate performance across extreme temperature ranges
  • Manage regression testing and track issues to maintain product quality and reliability.
  • Conduct hardware bring-up for new designs and troubleshoot early-stage hardware and software issues.
  • Build, maintain, and manage test stations using automation tools like Ansible, ensuring they meet specified configurations for test accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with design and development teams to understand requirements and review test results.
  • Track and deploy appropriate software versions, part numbers, revisions, and test versions to ensure accurate test configurations.
  • Maintain Python scripts for automating tests and analyzing results, enabling efficient and reliable test processes.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment to support product development timelines.
  • Synthesize complex test data into concise, high-level status reports and "Go/No-Go" summaries to provide stakeholders with clear visibility into product health and release readiness

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • 1-3+ years of relevant experience in hardware testing, integration, or similar fields
  • Proficiency in Python for test automation, scripting, and debugging
  • Familiarity with Ansible or similar configuration management tools
  • Knowledge of software versioning, part numbers, and revisions for effective test deployment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in test planning, execution, and reporting
  • Experience with HW bring-up and testing is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with hardware design tools and documentation
  • Exposure to test station design and maintenance
  • Proven ability to distill large volumes of automated test telemetry into actionable insights, clear bug reports, and executive-level summaries that identify root causes and trends

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in hardware or FPGA testing, automation, and integration to make an impact on cutting-edge technology. Join us to help drive quality and innovation in our products!
