JOB TITLE: Sr. Researcher - Wireless AI Generated Protocols
LOCATION: Bethesda, MD
CLEARANCE: Ability to Obtain Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The goal of the Program is to develop novel methods of arbitrary generative waveforms to create wireless information exchange protocols using AI. Waveforms are often used as the method for the transmission and reception of generated data. In general, a waveform is any method used to pass information between two entities by transducing physical energy into the physical world environment. The ambitious goal is to change the paradigm of waveform development. You will be evaluating technology developed by several teams.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have a current Top Secret/SCI (Tier 5+) with polygraph with clearance.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in mathematics, engineering, computer science, or related technical field.
• Two (2) years of experience working on machine learning or artificial intelligence technologies.
• Two (2) years of experience working within any software development group project.
• Two (2) years of experience working on any type of digital communications project (not just wireless or radio frequency (RF)).
• One (1) year experience supporting the management of a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team.
• One (1) years of experience creating program plans, work breakdown structures, and milestone schedules.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• One (1) year of experience in the IC, including experience with requirements, CONOPS, and transition.
• Two (2) years of experience editing scientific articles, papers, or presentations for a range of audiences.
• Two (2) published first-author peer-reviewed scientific articles OR primary technical holder on two (2) US patent applications - within fields relevant to the technical backgrounds identified.
• Four (4) years of experience managing a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team.
