Job Summary:
  • Provide operations support for Enterprise LAN, Security, Data Center, and Campus Network platforms across North America locations.
  • Install, configure, and support network WLCs and Access Points.
  • Provision network wireless equipment/AP on DNAC.
  • Implement and integrate Cisco Client with wired data, wireless infrastructure, and VPN, including posturing and client provisioning.
  • Build and analyze Client rules to comply with client network security policies.
  • Develop Client rule scripts with associated change documentation to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Perform deep troubleshooting on Client and DNAC.
  • Understand SDA Fabric controllers and SDA LAN.
  • Configure and manage Cisco Client infrastructure and access policies.
  • Conduct and coordinate site surveys, developing site plans to ensure total facility coverage.
  • Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.

  • Conduct wireless site surveys utilizing spectrum analysis technologies, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
  • Investigate faults in the wireless network.
  • Resolve incidents, problems, and changes according to established procedures.

  • Strong knowledge of switching technologies such as STP, trunking, EtherChannel, HSRP, VRRP, LACP, and PaGP.
  • CCNA Wireless Certified.
  • Experience configuring Cisco Wireless LAN and Lightweight Access Point solutions.
  • Strong experience working with Cisco Client models.
  • Cisco Client experience to understand how Client works and integrates into wireless.
  • Knowledge of protocols such as DIAMETER and RADIUS and experience testing applications using these protocols.
  • Guest access configuration in Cisco Client.
  • FlexConnect experience on a large scale.
  • Strong experience with both centralized and local Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers.
  • Strong experience with Cisco Lightweight Access Points.
  • Thorough understanding of 802.11-based wireless architecture.

  • Cisco knowledge in network design, operational support, hands-on implementation, and configuration of routers, hubs, switches, controllers, access points, and cabling in a large enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN environment.
