Wire Forming Machine Setup Technician

JonSpring Co., Inc.

JonSpring Co., Inc. is a family-owned spring manufacturing company with over 40 years of industry experience. We are seeking an experienced Wire Forming Machine Setup Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled manufacturing professional looking for long-term career growth with a stable company.

Our facility utilizes modern NUCOIL wire forming equipment, all of which is less than six years old, providing a clean and efficient production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot NUCOIL wire forming machines
  • Interpret engineering drawings and production specifications
  • Perform machine adjustments to ensure quality and production efficiency
  • Conduct first-piece inspections and maintain dimensional accuracy
  • Troubleshoot production issues and minimize downtime
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with preventative maintenance
  • Maintain quality standards and safe work practices
  • Work collaboratively with production personnel to meet customer deadlines

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience setting up and operating wire forming equipment (required)
  • Experience with NUCOIL wire forming machines is highly preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
