Job description

We’re partnering with our client, a company specializing in electrical distribution equipment, to find a talented Wire Diagram Designer. This full-time role is remote and involves creating detailed wiring diagrams and schematics. The position offers an opportunity to lead your own projects within a collaborative engineering team.

Wire Diagram Designer Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and schematic drawings using AutoCAD and BPP tools.
  • Manage workload effectively while adhering to project schedules and milestones.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions from production and engineering teams into your drawings.
  • Communicate potential issues or risks to project leaders proactively.
  • Ensure drawings comply with company standards and relevant electrical codes.

Wire Diagram Designer Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of electrical drafting experience, especially with control panels or power distribution.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, including tool palettes, custom blocks, and layer management.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and customer specifications accurately.
