Job description

Job Title: Operations Analyst
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90071
Duration: 6+ months with possible extension
 
The Wire Transfer Analyst is responsible for performing operational support duties of the Wire Transfer Department under general supervision. Receives wire requests from customers and validates their authenticity by verifying customers' signatures and confirming wire details over a recorded telephone line. Log wire requests by customers and branches and those delivered from other departments. Process the wire transfer instructions through the Wire Transfer and SWIFT systems. Processing and repairing of online customer initiated wires and FX wires.
Responsibilities include effective analysis of wire information to accurately execute payments to correspondent banks, analysis of on line information and resolution of customer issues. Keep abreast of regulatory changes and departmental policy changes. In addition, provide support to Department Manager in Departmental projects, defining and recommending procedural changes. Processing and repairing of online customer initiated wires. Assisting managerial staff with test and implementation of major/minor update to core systems.
