The Role:
The Wire Cutter & Warehouse Associate is responsible for processing wire and cable assemblies, operating wire processing equipment, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure materials are accurately prepared, handled, and distributed. This role maintains equipment, monitors inventory and material flow, and supports safe, efficient, and quality-focused manufacturing operations.
This position will report to the Production Manager.
This position is on-site located in Foxborough, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Use wire cutting machines and hand tools to cut, strip, and terminate wire and cable for assemblies according to work orders and specifications.
  • Set up, operate, and perform preventive maintenance on wire processing equipment, including heat shrink cutting machines.
  • Weigh, measure, or count items for distribution within the plant.
  • Pack, unpack, and mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or electronic marking tools.
  • Report all instances of product nonconformity and material shortages to the group leader or supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, efficient, and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S requirements.
  • Perform other manufacturing and warehouse related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no specific educational requirement.
  • Must meet all state and federal age requirements for employment in manufacturing.
  • Prior experience operating wire cutting or wire processing equipment in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Ability to use automated equipment, hand tools, and measuring devices safely and effectively as part of the assembly process.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, counting, and measuring.
  • Basic computer skills for use of the production system; training provided by the company.
  • Close vision and color vision sufficient to identify wire, cable, and labeling accurately.
  • Comfortable using automated equipment and hand tools effectively and safely as part of the assembly process.
  • Detail oriented, with strong attention to accuracy when cutting, counting, measuring, and labeling.
  • Dependable and consistent in meeting production schedules and attendance expectations.
  • Team oriented and willing to support other departments as production needs change.
  • Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Willing to learn new equipment, processes, and tooling as the business grows.
