B.S. Electrical Engineer, Computer Science, or equivalent

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Design & Test Engineer to support the development, testing, and validation of engineering systems. The role involves creating design documentation, developing test procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document engineering solutions, system designs, and technical specifications

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test procedures for electrical systems

  • Prepare and present technical design reviews to internal stakeholders

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support program/project plans and ensure alignment with key stakeholders

  • Apply lessons learned to continuously improve testing processes and procedures

  • Support the development, review, and approval of estimates and technical proposals

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical design

  • Proficiency with drafting and design tools such as MS Visio and Zuken

  • Working knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, and data acquisition systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Understanding of electromagnetic interference (EMI) principles

  • Experience with wire installation and wire harness design

  • Ability to analyze and interpret measurement data

  • Knowledge of PLC systems and closed-loop control systems

  • Basic understanding of hydraulic systems

  • Exposure to system engineering concepts

  • Familiarity with LabVIEW and National Instruments (NI) hardware
